TOROS NEZA | A Reflection of Mexican Football
From Underdogs to Icons of Mexican Football.
In collaboration with Mar Post (post-production) and The Lift (cinematography and direction), for ViX Studios. these pieces created by the Long Summer Days team are part of the narrative of this five episode documentary series.
Each piece aims to highlight the epic, heart pounding moments experienced match after match, as well as the obstacles and victories that defined the journey of a team that, through charisma, humor, and an uncommon closeness to its people, won the hearts of thousands of fans.
To tell the stories behind the legend of this Mexican football team from the 1990s and in the absence of off the field archival footage from that era, our mission was to imagine and recreate, guided by the voices of its protagonists, those unbelievable anecdotes and dream like plays that lived on in collective memory.
We brought them to life through motion graphics, crafting a visual language that honors the myth, amplifies emotion, and revives the indomitable spirit of Toros Neza.
