HAND CRAFTED HERITAGE | THE SPHERE

To take the party to another dimension
In 2024, Josue Ibañez Studio reimagined Hispanic Heritage Month at The Sphere with Handcrafted Heritage a monumental digital installation celebrating the craftsmanship, traditions, and deep cultural roots of the Hispanic world. The piece wove together symbolism, stories, and artistic expressions from across regions to portray a collective identity through three immersive worlds: The Mural, honoring ancestral ties and landscapes; The Telar, representing the harmony between nature and culture through textile-inspired visuals and Papel Picado, celebrating community and shared traditions.
Long Summer Days played a key role in shaping the visual language of the piece—developing the art style, craftitg the illustrations, animating key elements, and collaborating on the rendering process. It was both a creatively fulfilling and collaborative project that allowed our work to be showcased on the world’s largest screen, alongside a team of exceptional artists.
